1. Acceptance
By cloning, downloading, or otherwise using the Soft-factory browser extension template (the "Template") and the accompanying marketing site at soft-factory.dev(the "Site"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Template or the Site.
2. License
The Template is released under the MIT License. You may use it for commercial products, modify it, and ship derivative works. The MIT notice and copyright line must be preserved in source distributions. The marketing Site content (copy, illustrations, the Soft-factory name and wordmark) is not MIT-licensed and remains the property of the author.
3. Support packages
The Template is free. The "Pair" and "Done-for-you" packages described on the pricing page are paid services. Invoicing, scheduling, and delivery are handled by email at x7656297@gmail.com. Refunds are available up to 14 days after purchase if no work has started.
4. Chrome Web Store
Publishing a derivative of the Template to the Chrome Web Store requires a one-time $5 developer registration with Google. You are responsible for the accuracy of your listing, your privacy disclosures, and your compliance with the Chrome Web Store developer program policies. The author of the Template is not a party to that agreement.
5. Telemetry
The Template ships with a default factory-ingest endpoint at soft-factory-dashboard.x7656297.workers.dev. If you keep this default, install and primary-action events are sent to the Soft-factory dashboard for product analytics. You may disable or replace the endpoint at any time by editing extension/background/service-worker.ts and re-running npm run build:ext.
6. Disclaimers
The Template is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In no event shall the author be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from, out of, or in connection with the Template or the use or other dealings in the Template.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the author's aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Template or the Site is limited to the amount you paid the author in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater. The author is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold the author harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Template, your derivative products, or your violation of these terms.
9. Termination
These terms apply for as long as you use the Template or the Site. Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, and 10 survive termination. If you stop using the Template you must remove any code you deployed based on it from your products.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the author resides, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
